I played a $20 SnG on Stars yesterday when this happened:
I had 2000 chips, blinds 75/150, I have QQ and make it 450 from Middle Position. Either the BB or an EP limper, I can't recall, is the only caller. Flop comes T 8 4 rainbow. He bets like 300, making the pot maybe 1400 or so. I want to make a pot sized raise, and rather than just leave a couple hundred behind, I push.
He goes into the tank for a while, and calls for all his chips and flips T-2 suited.
Ok first, how does he call preflop with that? Second, what psychology is at work that makes him think he could possible be good there?
I won the hand, but bubbled in 4th. |

And some players love suited hole cards pre-flop. |

What are the fish thinking about?
Fish don't think, they just swim around and bother the sharks until a shark gets hungry. |
