Watching the Reno Hilton tournament from Season 3 (Phil Ivey, et al) while working from the home office this afternoon.

These have got to be the uglyest chips (at least for a professional tournament) I have *ever* seen. Mono-color chips...pink, brown and yellow. Ick!

Foxwoods(CT) and Turning Stone(NY) tourney chips are the same deal...

FOXWOODS Tourney Chips

TURNING STONE Tourney Chips

Which I believe are made by the same folks as the chips I use for my 25c/50c Pot-Limit cash game, Cluen Chips (formerly The Burt Company, formerly The Portland Billiard Ball Company) from right here in Portland, Maine. Sold to the home market by pokerchips.com

Agreed... but it's Reno! What do you expect?

I expect a tournament of any noterity (at least, enough to be a WPT event) to have Chipco or Paulson chips.

BTW, I'm getting my bankroll back up for the Paulson buy. I'll still keep the dice chips, though.

Don't believe everything you see on T.V.... Just because it's a WPT Tournament, doesn't mean it's a high-class tournament. For a place like Reno, they can clean it up for the last 6 people to be shown on T.V.
