Well I'm 18 years old, and I went into a $100 tournament at my local casino...there was 50 people in it
I was the only young person (under 20 anyways) in the tournament, and at first was shown absolutely no respect because of it. However I proved them all wrong, and finished up in 4th place, netting myself $415.
If it wasn't for two races I lost, I could have won the tournament...
Lost AJ to A9...and lost pocket 7's to A6... _________________ I'm Young, but I'm still better then you |

You can gamble at 18 in the U.S. It depends on the state and casino. In Nevada everything is 21+ in California some are 18+ others are 21+ |

Could the screen name "Edm_Player" mean Edmonton? I think there's 18+ north of the border...
Congrats on the good showing. 4th out of 50 is quite the accomplishment, especially if you'd never played for that much before. How many spots did they pay out? |

I'm going to guess EDM means Edmonton, Alberta. 18 is the age of majority in most Canadian provinces. I think there are only two or three where the legal age is 19, and Alberta's not one of them.
I was very surprised one year when I drove down to Montana for a camping trip and went to a restaurant for lunch along the way and they ID'd me when I ordered a beer. I was 20 and had been drinking for two years already, and it didn't even cross my mind that the drinking age was 21 there... _________________ JumperJeff
