For next version it would be nice if TM could display the average M for that level.
Would be pretty easy to do since the software knows the total amount of chips in play and the number of remaining players. Not sure how I could make it fit on my already too full screen but I am sure I could find a place for it |

For calculating M you need to know all the blinds and antes, so it's not that easy to implent that espacially in tournaments with more than 1 (unbalanced) table. Only a rounded value is possible here, because it could happen, that you have no small blind (BB bust in round before) or a different count of antes. |

Here's the problem...
M = YOUR STACK / "Cost per round"
Cost per round is easy enough for the software to calculate.
Problem is, everybody's M is different...so how can the console possibly display an "M" value?
Problem 1: If there are 8 players left, there are 8 different M values.
Problem 2: The software doesn't know how much is in your stack. _________________ --

Average M means just that... the M for the average stack... the average stack being the total number of chips in play divided by the total number of players remaining.
If you watched the World Series this year, they talked about the average M a lot. It is good information to know if a lot of people are about to go bust or if the tournament still has a lot of play left in it. |

So if you are able to calculate that avg in your head, would you want it to be displayed to all the players? Why give out any possible edge? _________________ 40 |
