For obvious reasons, HR does not want us playing poker for money in public rooms at work. TM and the available league statistics have given us a motivation to play and give some effort to playing well.
Usually 4-7 players at lunch playing for a max of 1 hour. Everyone gets $100 chips, no limit, $1,$2 blinds, double blinds every 10 minutes. TM tracks the statistics and we can post the HTML league rankings on a bulletin board at work. Thus, we play for the pride of maintaining ranking on the league for bragging rights alone.
Nice break from real work without breaking the law or aggrevating HR.
Try it sometime! It's a good way to get new FISH to come to your regular real money games on Friday night... and, you already know their tells without paying for the information.
