Been working on the consoles. I'm very happy with progress and the product that's being created.
The "Player Interface" section now has 4 tabs:
- Layouts. A list of the layouts (core and user-defined). For each layout, you see the name and the file name. You can preview the layout you've highlighted. Options include creating a new layout, designing an existing layout, copying an existing layout or deleting a layout. Any changes you make are automatically saved.
- Image Library. A list of the loaded images (core and user-defined). The image table shows the name (filename) of each image, as well as its size in KB and its dimensions. A preview of the selected image is available. Your options here include importing an image into your repository, deleting an image from your repository (deleting checks for all places it is used), resizing an image or renaming an image.
- Audio library. A list of the loaded audio clips (core and user-defined). The audio clip table shows the name (filename) of each image, as well as its size in KB and its format. You can preview an audio clip by playing it. You can also import clips, delete clips or rename clips.
- Themes. A list of the available themes (a theme is a set of layouts, alert definitions, knowledge definitions, etc.) A preview of the selected theme is shown. You can create new themes, delete themes, copy themes or edit themes. _________________ --

There'll be an import function. _________________ --

this sounds like a great addition. it'll be nice to deposit images and audio files into one place and have them "just work."
i have a friend who uses TD and i have to watch him waste a ton of time weekly getting the program to work right, figuring out who paid what, league rake, etc. some of it is him, but i can tell from watching him struggle with it that TM is vastly superior. |

Not only that, but you'll be able to take the entire repository, pick it up, drop it on another machine, point TM at it and it'll work without any other adjustments. (unlike today) _________________ --

that'd be sweet. my ideal setup would be to keep the whole kit and caboodle on a small USB key drive that can travel. |

It's probably pretty safe to say that ALMOST everyone who currently has V2 would be willing to beta test V3.
We're guys! (I assume most of us are...) We like new toys. _________________ JumperJeff

Okay. The first beta should be available soon.
In it, you'll see that all tournament and league functionality has been stripped....I'm focusing on consoles and the repository initially. _________________ --
