Ok... so I was entering an elimination in a tourney I had today and I accidentally knocked out the power supply on the laptop. The battery is shot so I didn't have that as backup.

I think there should be a feature to save a backup every X minutes to a special auto-backup file.

Just my little idea anyway.

There is.....but you have to save the file orgionally...Unlike I did at my last tourney....and the computer crashed in the middle of the 5th blind level....

Really?

I did have the tourney saved as a file and in the main league file, but neither got backed up regularly. I've seen the .BACKUP file, but is that meant to get saved automatically every X minutes then?

Ah cool stuff. Maybe I had just loaded it from the league then (I guess it won't autosave then? - well, it didn't cause I checked the .BACKUP file, but it hadn't been updated since the normal one had, which was before start of tourney).

Maybe the league file should autosave aswell then...

You actually have to save the tourney. Once you do this then the autosave gets activated........always save once you open a tourney (unlike me)....
