I've been noodling on ways to make console customization easier, and just want to let you know it is coming.

Soon, you'll be able to:
- Move multiple components at one time.
- Change attributes of multiple components at one time.

It's going to be slick.

I've completed the way to select multiple components and move them/resize them all at once.

The design of multiple components at once is about 1/2 done. The way it will work is this:
- You select the components you want to modify and click "design".
- The app interrogates the components and decides which editable properties they have in common.
- You choose which of those properties you want to edit and edit that specific property.
- The app applies the new value to all of the components you selected.

Whee.

will you be able to move a component 'over' another?

I mean if I'm moving a label box from A to D, but B and C have some component there, currently I have to move B/C out of the way, or I guess size A to 0x0 and change the position, then resize...It'd be nice just to move it, then give an error if I try to save with overlapping components.

..or something like that.

The easiest way to do it is just by editing the component's coordinates in the table to the right.

You won't be able to move a component over another one.

yeah, not a big deal, just extra steps when you don't have any empty area (for example when you're switching elements A<->B you'll have to actually resize one to 0x0 swap positions, the resize again...

Nearly ready for release. Just need to do some testing.

You will now be able to select whatever components on the screen you wish and modify the properties they have in common. Examples:
- Change background color of multiple components at one time.
- Change font/color of all labels at once.

You will also be able to do mass moves of components. For example, you add a row and want to shift all components down, just select all of them and hit "shift down". All of them move at one time.

You'll also be able to add multiple components to a console with one "Add" operation, and copy components.

The next release will also give you the ability to swap two components.
